Research interests

My research interests include drivers of livelihood, youth entrepreneurs for development, adaptation to climate change and forced migration. My research so far involved both qualitative and quantitative methods to analyse issues and challenges associated with climate vulnerability, internal displacement and refugee crises in the global south. I am experienced in conducting extended fieldwork in challenging environment and using cultural lens to the study of people’s lives and experiences.


Over twelve years’ teaching experience at places including University of South Wales (United Kingdom), Griffith University (Australia) and multiple higher institutions in Bangladesh.
