    Research output: Book/ReportBookpeer-review

This book captures the conclusion of the comprehensive review of youth policy in Belgium conducted by an international review team during 2011. Youth policy is a 'community' competence and therefore the primary focus was on the three communities of Belgium - the Flemish Community, the French Community, and the German-speaking Community. However, it also had to give some consideration to the regional structures (Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia), given their responsibility for labour market questions and to some federal responsibilities. Different approaches to issues such as (im)migration, vocational training and youth justice provide not only instructive internal comparisons but also matters for consideration across the 47 countries of the Council of Europe.
