Genetics and the primary care nurse

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Primary care nurses have an important role in ensuring their patients benefit from advances in genetics, and in addressing concerns relating to the application of new genetic tests and technologies. Genetics isn't going to 'go away', particularly as new insights into common diseases are reported on an almost weekly basis, but the current needs of patients with less common genetic conditions must also be met.
